If you want to have a “taste” of Iceland, spend a weekend exploring its capital and going for a day trip to the Golden Triangle. Here it is how I did it!

 DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN REYKJAVIK

 DAY 2: REYKJAVIK 

  • Blue Lagoon
  • Church of Hallgrimur
  • Perlan
  • Just walk around the town and get lost
  • Dinner at Sea Baron or “Saegreifinn

 DAY 3: DAY TOUR TO THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE 

  • Thingvellir National Park
  • The Strokkur Geyser
  • The Gullfoss Waterfall
  • Vatnajökull Glacier (snowmobiling)

 DAY 4: EARLY DEPARTURE FROM REYKJAVIK
