I traveled around Iran for eleven days. In order to see more sights and make the most of my time, I squeezed a lot in one or two days in my itinerary. In here, I made a couple of changes to my original agenda so it can be easier to follow.

Day 1: Arrival in Tehran

Day 2: Tehran

Day 3: Bus from Teheran to Isfahan (About four hours. Departure from the South Bus Terminal)

Day 4: Isfahan

Day 5: Isfahan

Day 6: Day trip to Abyaneh, a traditional town in central Tehran. Try to go during for its festival. You can also visit Abyaneh on your way from Tehran to Isfahan.

Day 7: Bus from Isfahan to Yazd (about five hours)

Day 8: Yazd

Day 9: You can add a day here to do a desert trip or to visit one of the ancient towns such as Kharanaq, Chak Chak and Meybod

Day 10: Bus Yazd to Shiraz (About seven hours). The departure of this bus is from the new bus terminal of Yazd.

Day 11: Shiraz

Day 12: Persepolis (A day trip from Shiraz)

Day 13: Flight from Shiraz to Tehran. Departure from Iran.
